Welcome to the Thornton Lodge website. We offer luxurious Country House 5 star bed and breakfast (dinner by arrangement), from an idyllic setting above the River Ure in Wensleydale. Located close to Aysgarth Falls, in the Yorkshire Dales National Park, we provide a peaceful haven amid fine period features and modern comforts. 

We are open  for luxury bed and breakfast from March to October, with the house available for  parties and group bookings of 10 or more guests during winter. Please view our Parties page for details of our fabulous winter weekend breaks in the Yorkshire Dales.
